WHAT’S IN FOR YOU

The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method (“LSP”) is a creative process designed to enhance problem solving based on experimentation. It has been developed to support creativity in a business environment. It supports a hands-on, minds-on learning approach and produces a deeper, more meaningful, understanding of the challenge at hand which leads to superior solutions.

During this LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® On-Line Introductory Workshop, you will receive an overview about how LSP works by practically applying it yourself. You will learn what problems can be addressed using LSP and how LSP adds value to problem solving. The workshop will take about 2 hours (depending on you questions and the discussion). It will be offered on-line via Zoom (my initial experience has shown that this works really well – if participants are reasonably disciplined) and will require each of the participants to have a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Starter Set (having LEGO pieces from you childhood will be insufficient as the starter kit has some unique “pieces” which are very useful to model building). You may order the starter set on shop.lego.com (or on Amazon or other platforms). There is a CHF 120,- fee to be paid via PayPal or SEPA wire transfer ahead of the workshop

The workshop will be conducted by Dr. Claude Diderich who is certified in designing and facilitating workshops with the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method by the Association of Master Trainers in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method. The working language will be English.

P.S. This workshop is by no means a full facilitator training. To get certified as a LSP facilitator requires attending a four day workshop (seriousplay.training), which I did some years ago and investing in an LSP Identity and Landscape Set (which contains all the pieces required for a full-fledged workshop).

There is no substitute for hands-on experience. After attending the LEGO® Serious Play® On-Line Introductory Workshop led by Dr Claude Diderich, I have a deeper understanding of how this tool can be used to work through strategy and problem-solving challenges. Even more valuable to me was the opportunity to “try out” the participant experience. The balance of theory, hands-on practice, and discussion of use-case possibilities during the session exceeded my expectations in every way.
